
A man was hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries from a stabbing in Annandale last night (Wednesday).
According to Fairfax County police, the stabbing occurred near the intersection of Wadsworth Court and Little River Turnpike.
Lt. James Curry, a Fairfax County Police Department spokesman, says the call came in around 9:15 p.m. The male victim was rushed to the hospital where he was last reported in critical condition, Curry added.
According to police, the suspect was described as an Hispanic man wearing a blue coat and black pants. The investigation, including of the circumstances and possible motive, is in its preliminary stages. Curry advises anybody with details about the incident to call police.
Wadsworth Court was also the site of a reported shooting on Monday night (April 4). In that incident, a man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and police said the suspect left the area in a car.
