An argument ended in three men getting stabbed behind the North County Human Services Center in Reston last night (Sunday), Fairfax County police say.
According to the Fairfax County Police Department, three men “were engaged in a verbal argument that escalated to a physical assault” around 11:33 p.m. at 1850 Cameron Glen Drive.
“During the assault, a knife was produced, and the three men all received stab wounds,” the FCPD said. “The men were all transported to local hospitals with injuries that were considered non-life threatening.”
The incident reportedly occurred at a basketball court behind the building, which houses an adult day care drop-in center, an office for the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board, and other health and social services.
Adjacent to Inova’s Reston/Herndon emergency room, the North County building hosts a hypothermia shelter run by the nonprofit Cornerstones during the winter, but that program ended for the year after March 31.
“Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this event,” the FCPD said.
