A 15-year-old girl was shot in Annandale on Saturday (June 4) just before midnight, Fairfax County police said.
The girl was among a group of juveniles sitting on a curb in the 7300 block of Beverly Manor Drive when a light-colored sedan drove by around 11:53 p.m., according to the police department. The passenger displayed a gun and shot in the direction of a home that was hosting a party.
The girl was shot in the lower body and taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.
Police said it did not appear to be a random act. The suspect hasn’t been found.
