(Updated at 11:25 a.m.) A pedestrian was killed in a crash on the Dulles Airport Access Highway Tuesday night (July 5).
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was hit by a vehicle in the westbound lanes of the highway near the Reston Parkway interchange, according to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, whose police responded to the incident at 9:20 p.m.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash, which is still under investigation, an MWAA spokesperson wrote to FFXnow in a statement.
The man was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The case is still under investigation. No further details were available for public release.
