Lorton Community Center, Library Opens — The county celebrated the opening fo the Lorton Community Center, library and renovated Lorton Park earlier this month. “Park Authority leadership and staff collaborated with the Department of Public Works and Environmental Services and the community from the initial site planning through construction to deliver a refreshed 1.7-acre park, which includes a new playground, fitness area, plaza space with seating, an open field, and a trail loop,” according to the county.
