Investigators have put out a call for additional information on a child pornography case involving a Leesburg man who ran a cheerleading business based in Reston.

The Virginia State Police says it has learned that, in addition to running The Crimson All-Star Cheerleading Club, Jason R. Fragale, 38, presented himself as a coach for USA Cheer and a “modeling” recruiter to young girls. During that period in late 2022 and spring 2023, he went by the alias “Jason Mariani.”

“Investigators are seeking anyone who went to his Reston business on Freedom Drive for photo shoots, cheer lessons and/or recruitment coaching,” the VSP said in an update today (Tuesday).

Police are asking anyone with information to contact FBI Special Agent Michael Bullock at questions@vsp.virginia.gov or 571-581-4420.

Based on an online tip submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Northern Virginia-Washington, DC Internet Crimes Against Children (NOVA-DC ICAC) Task Force obtained warrants on Jan. 20 charging Fragle with five counts each of child pornography and reproduction of child pornography.

Fragle, who has residences in Leesburg and Kissimmee, Florida, was arrested in February at a Florida airport, where he was about to take a flight out of the country, according to the VSP.

He was later extradited to Loudoun County and remains in custody at that county’s adult detention center.
