After a successful first year, the Tysons Mixed Market is coming back for a second summer of food, crafts and art.

Organized by the Tysons Community Alliance (TCA), the market will once again bring small, local businesses and artisans to The Boro (8350 Broad Street) every Wednesday for six weeks from 4-8 p.m., starting on Aug. 21.

Continuing through Sept. 25, the market will be located in the parking lot next to The Sandlot. In addition to checking out the various stalls, attendees can play lawn games and listen to live music.

“The annual event launched last year as a way to support local businesses, further create a sense of place in Tysons, and bring the community together,” the TCA said in a media advisory. “Last year’s Mixed Market included over 50 vendors and brought out nearly 2,000 members of the community over the course of six weeks.”

For the mixed market, the TCA partnered with the D.C.-based events firm Diverse Markets Management, which is now accepting vendor applications.

Per the application page, the market is open to prepared food vendors as well as entrepreneurs who sell art, crafts, jewelry, beauty and bath items and other locally made, handcrafted products. The parking lot can accommodate around 25 exhibitors at a time.

Other upcoming events at The Boro include Sandlot Cars and Coffee, a free car show with coffee on Aug. 4, and the launch of the neighborhood’s Summer Cornhole League on Aug. 1.
