A new outpost for dessert fare in Chantilly will offer numerous deals next month to celebrate its soft opening.
SoftSpot announced yesterday (Wednesday) that it’s now open in Chantilly’s Sully Place Shopping Center, boasting a menu with soft-serve ice cream, cookies and other treats.
Starting this Saturday, Feb. 1 through Feb. 10, patrons will be eligible for a buy one, get one free deal on SoftSpot’s craft soft-serve, which includes vanilla, chocolate swirl, ube and shaken espresso flavors.
Additionally, a “buy one cup, get another half off” deal will run throughout February for both the craft soft-serve and the New Zealand-style soft-serve, which blends real fruit into a creamy or vegan base.
Diners can also choose from a variety of toppings for their ice cream, ranging from crushed cookies and nuts to SoftSpot’s Italian-imported chocolate dipping situation. A kids cup or cone will cost $5.49, while adult-sized ice creams start at $7.49.
SoftSpot’s menu doesn’t stop there. The eatery also boasts “dirty sodas,” a drink trend that started in Utah and combines traditional soft drinks with syrups, creams and other ingredients.
Popular options include the “Toasted Thunder,” which mixes root beer with vanilla, toasted marshmallow, chocolate and cream, as well as the “Orange Meltdown,” which has vanilla and cream accompanying orange Fanta soda.
Also available for purchase are a variety of pastries and confections, including cinnamon rolls, croissants and MOLTN cookies — a concept also started by SoftSpot partner Neal Miglani.
Located at 13905A Metrotech Drive, SoftSpot’s soft opening hours are from 1-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
A grand opening celebration is expected once the weather warms up, according to a press release.
