Little Leaves Behavioral Services, a center that offers specialized therapy programs for young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, is opening four new centers around the region including two in Fairfax.
According to a press release, the new centers will open sometime this summer. They will each be able to serve 24 children.
Little Leaves currently operates 14 locations, primarily around the D.C. region, including in Reston and Alexandria, and Florida. The business is currently working through plans to expand to 25 centers over the next five years, the release said.
The program is designed for children from 1 to 6 years old and run in a preschool-like setting to help children foster school readiness and independence.
According to the release:
Little Leaves Behavioral Services, a leading provider of center-based behavioral health services for preschool-aged children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), today announced plans to open four new locations in Maryland and Virginia this summer. The expansion reflects Little Leaves’ commitment to helping more children with essential social, communication, and behavioral challenges grow and succeed.
The release said the new locations are going to be at:
- Chantilly: 4090 Lafayette Center Dr, Chantilly, VA 20151
- Tysons Corner: 8133 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA 22182
- Owings Mills: 11459 Cronhill Drive Owings Mills, MD 21117
- Middle River: 12 Irondale Street, White Marsh, MD 21220
The Chantilly location is in office park just off Route 50, while the Tysons location will be in an office building at the intersection of Leesburg Pike and Gallows Road.
Plans for the Tysons location’s buildout were submitted to Fairfax County earlier in March. County records indicate that the center will occupy a 5,960-square-foot suite on the first floor of the building, which also houses an Olive Garden and United Dental Group, among other tenants.
