A prominent real estate agent based in Tysons has been arrested after investigators learned about multiple allegations of him inappropriately touching children, Fairfax County police say.
Detectives began investigating Christopher Dudley, a 46-year-old man living in the Fairfax area, after Fairfax County Child Protective Services received a referral for a child who was reportedly “inappropriately touched by an adult male,” according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
“Through their investigation, detectives learned Christopher Dudley, 46, of Fairfax inappropriately touched the minor on numerous occasions,” the FCPD said today (Monday) in a press release. “As the investigation progressed, three additional victims were identified disclosing that Dudley had inappropriate contact with them as well, in incidents dating back to 2004.”
Dudley was arrested last Thursday (July 24) and charged with eight counts each of both aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties by a custodian.
Following a bond hearing this morning, he remains in custody at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 5 in Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
According to the FCPD, Dudley currently works as a real estate agent and volunteers as an emergency medical technician with the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad in Montgomery County.
Police say he also previously worked as a voice coach at St. Paul’s Parish in D.C., a private vocal coach under the company Dudley Vocals LLC until 2024, and as a member of the Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department from December 2010 to October 2012.
Dudley is the founder and leader of the Tysons-based Dudley Real Estate Group (8075 Leesburg Pike), which appears to be affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty.
Listed among the area’s top producing real estate agents in 2025 by both Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazine, he has also been featured as a host on the real estate and lifestyle TV show “The American Dream,” according to his business website and LinkedIn page.
PenFed Realty and American Dream TV didn’t immediately return requests for comment.
Online court records indicate that the earliest offense occurred on Jan. 1, 2004. All of the aggravated sexual battery charges involve victims younger than 13.
