Two weeks ago, we voted on the Best Chinese Restaurants in Fairfax County. The full results are now official:
- 🥇 Mama Chang — 151 votes
- 🥈 Peking Gourmet Inn — 64 votes
- 🥉 Peter Chang — 58 votes
- Yu Noodles — 42 votes
- Hot Peppercorn — 35 votes (tie)
- Chili Wok — 35 votes (tie)
Opened in 2019 by the women of Peter Chang’s family, Mama Chang in Fairfax City has emerged as arguably the most beloved establishment in the prolific Chinese restaurateur’s empire. The eatery’s homey approach to traditional Chinese cuisine and robust menu, which includes an all-you-can-eat option and weekend dim sum brunch, have made it a staple of best-of lists from local food critics.
