Crumbl Cookies to open in Reston’s Plaza America next month

It’s official: Crumbl Cookies is opening in Plaza America next month.

After some delays due to supply chain issues, the business, which offers a rotating weekly menu of freshly baked cookies, is opening on March 18.

Cookies are mixed, baked, and prepared in an open kitchen. Specialty items include s’mores, key lime pie, orange roll and galaxy brownie cookies.

The Reston location is operated by local resident and professional baker Natalie Paukstys. Her love for Crumbl cookies has been cooking from the first days of the business.

Natalie, who works alongside her husband, Dovy, were neighbors to Jason McGowan, one of the founders of Crumbliest Cookies.

The Paukstys tried Crumbl’s first cookie creations more than four years ago and watched the budding cookie brand grow across the country.

“When we eventually settled in our forever home here in Virginia, we knew we had to take part in bringing Crumbl here,” Natalie told FFXnow.

She also operates the Leesburg location with her husband.

In a statement, McGowan says the company prides itself on “traditional flavors” and occasional experiments to keep customers on their toes.

“We love the traditional flavors, but also like to surprise our customers with new and fun concepts,” he wrote.

The business was founded by two cousins in Logan, Utah, in 2017. Since then, more than 300 locations have opened in more than 36 states. Virginia already has several locations, including Leesburg, Ashburn and Vienna.

The company expects to release details about opening day specials and giveaways later this week. Grand opening week will consist of six weekly flavors. Cold milk can also be added to any order.

The Reston location is currently hiring for all positions.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
