Fairfax driver charged with felony hit and run in Vienna

(Updated 4/16) A 30-year-old Fairfax man was arrested last week for a felony hit and run and driving on a revoked operator’s license after a crash in Vienna.

The incident occurred last week around 7:49 a.m. on April 8 at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Pleasant Street.

According to the Vienna Police Report:

Following a vehicle accident, the driver exchanged seats with a passenger, fled the scene, and went into his business in the 300 block of Maple Avenue, West. Subsequently, an officer apprehended the driver and discovered an active warrant for his arrest in Pennsylvania.

MPO Shaw arrested the 30-year-old individual from Ridge Top Road in Fairfax, Virginia. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with Felony Hit & Run and Driving on a Revoked Operator’s License. The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Department will pursue the Pennsylvania warrant.
