A reformer pilates studio is coming soon to the Village Center at Dulles south of Herndon.

Club Pilates is slated to open a 2,539-square-foot location in the plaza, which is anchored by Giant. It already has a location at Fox Mill Shopping Center in Herndon.

A representative for Regency Centers, which owns the shopping center at 2445 Centreville Road, told FFXnow that an opening date has not been determined yet.

“The tenant is working on the plans and once complete will file for permit,” the representative said.

Club Pilates didn’t indicate when it plans to open the new Herndon location, but Fairfax County staff accepted a permit application for the buildout on Sept. 9. The studio will take over the former D4 Karate space (2465-J12 Centreville Road) next to Chuck E. Cheese.

According to its website, Club Pilates launched in 2007 with its first studio in San Diego, California. It’s now part of the franchise group Xponential Fitness, which also owns Cyclebar, Stretchlab and other exercise brands.

Leasing materials for the Village Center at Dulles show two vacant spots, including a nearly 45,000-square-foot location for a third-floor fitness space. The site plan also lists a restaurant space as set to be “available soon.”
