This is a 63 minute film from filmmaker, Wandrille Lanos, and produced in 2024 by Brotherfilms. Light refreshments will be provided and Q&A with regional experts and CCH staff will follow. Film Synopsis: This film retraces the history of Haiti’s debt in order to understand the spiral of borrowing that stunted the country’s development. Who profited from this debt? Has Haiti been plundered since its birth—by foreign powers, international banks, and its own leaders? And what role did France play in this history?
