On Monday, 4/27, Joon in Tysons Corner will host a one-night-only “Solidarity Supper” in partnership with Roads & Kingdoms, supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Iran. The evening features remarks from The Washington Post Global Opinions writer Jason Rezaian, alongside Roads & Kingdoms co-founder Nathan Thornburgh and Joon co-owner and acclaimed Persian cookbook author Chef Najmieh Batmanglij. Guests will enjoy a family-style Persian dinner paired with an intimate conversation exploring the human impact of life in Iran through firsthand reporting and cultural perspective. Net proceeds will benefit Children of Persia, providing essential aid to families facing displacement and food insecurity. Tickets are $150 and can be purchased on the Roads & Kingdoms website.
