Young girl sits inside a white-and-blue inflatable shark mouth; a smiling woman holds a shark-shaped sign beside her in a colorful room.

Join us at the Children’s Science Center Lab for a Deep Dive into all things sharks! Come learn and have fun with all of our usual engaging STEM activities, exhibits, and experiment bar explorations as well as these special activities:

  • Use a dichotomous key to identify 3D printed shark tooth models.

  • Shark Tooth Excavation: Search through a sand bin to find hidden shark teeth.

  • pH Mystery Activity: Use pH strips to test the pH of three different solutions and learn more about why pH is important for animals that live in the ocean.

  • Guest Scientist: Claire Zarybnisky will be in attendance talking about her degree in marine biology and her research experience with ocean animals.
