Launching this month by BBC Studios, families are invited to embrace more play, connection and fun in their everyday lives. At Tysons Corner Center, a series of murals designed by Ludo Studio artists and inspired by iconic Bluey moments of play is shown on September 18, 19 and 20.
The program designed for families as part of the Play the Bluey Way global campaign, inspired by the beloved animated series Bluey. The activation includes:
-
Community Art Project: Large-scale sticker-by-number mural (20 feet x 8 feet).
-
Interactive Dance Mode with Bluey and Bingo: On-stage costume character appearances by Bluey and Bingo, family dance sessions, and a live DJ
-
Crafting Station: Bluey-themed crafts and activities.
-
Play the Bluey Way Games: CAMP counselors from the CAMP store will lead activities including Keepy Uppy, Magic Asparagus, and Musical Statues.
-
Scavenger Hunt: Bluey-themed objects hidden throughout the event space.
-
Photo Opportunities: Step-and-repeat backyard backdrop and themed event décor.
-
For families interested in visiting Bluey’s house and taking photos with the costume characters, please visit the Bluey x CAMP: Bluey’s House experience at the CAMP store.
The event is free and open to families from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please note: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. is reserved for low sensory accommodations. Families are encouraged to check in at the Level 1 atrium and the CAMP team will guide them to Play the Bluey Way activities.
