On this week's Friday Power Lunch, we’re looking at the races and tools that often get overlooked, but can have an enormous impact on democracy.
– Susan Labandibar, Swing Blue Alliance, Candidate AI Visibility Program
– Dr. Betty Spencer, Candidate for Virginia Beach School Board, District 10
– Suzanne Berman, Candidate for Virginia Beach School Board, District 9
– Natalie Bray, Candidate for Virginia Beach School Board, District 8
– Christina Brady, Candidate for Chesterfield County School Board, Clover Hill District
– Michelle Moore, Lead, Bridge2Blue

We’ll start with Susan Labandibar of Swing Blue Alliance on a fascinating new campaign challenge: what happens when voters ask AI who a candidate is, what they stand for, and whether the information they find is accurate?

Then we bring together four Virginia school board candidates to talk about why these local races matter, what they are bringing to public education, and why voters cannot afford to skip the bottom of the ballot.

And we’ll close with Michelle Moore of Bridge2Blue, sharing how grassroots volunteers are helping candidates get seen, known and elected through voter outreach, local organizing and support for key races and Virginia’s three constitutional amendments.
