Arlington Travel Basketball: Coaching Opportunities & Tryouts for 2025-26 Season
Arlington Travel Basketball (ATB) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization offering competitive basketball for boys and girls in grades 5–8. Our mission is to develop superior basketball skills while emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and character.
Coaching Opportunities
ATB is seeking passionate head and assistant coaches to inspire young athletes in Arlington. Ideal candidates are former college or high school players eager to give back and teach the game they love.
Coaching experience is a plus but not required — training is available. All coaches must pass a background check. The commitment includes:
• Tryouts the week of October 6, 2025
• 3 practices/week in preseason (Oct–Nov)
• 2 practices/week during the season (Dec–early March)
• FCYBL regular season & playoffs
• At least two tournaments

Tryouts for 2025-26 Season
Tryouts begin Monday, October 6, 2025. Players must pre-register and attend at least two tryouts to be considered. There is no charge to try out.
Teams will be formed for grades 5–8. Fourth graders may try out for 5th grade teams.
