Christine Hissong, a Fairfax-based Collaborative divorce attorney and member
of the Virginia Collaborative Professionals, will speak at the McLean Community
Center on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will
take place at 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean, VA 22101.
Christine will join with Patrice Garver, Ph.D., to discuss the Collaborative Divorce Process, with particular attention to the group’s Low-Bono Collaborative Divorce option. The program is intended for individuals and families interested in learning about alternatives to traditional divorce litigation that prioritize privacy, cooperation, and cost awareness.
“This program is about helping people understand that divorce does not have to
be adversarial to be effective,” said Christine. “By working collaboratively with
legal, financial, and mental health professionals, families can move forward with
clarity, dignity, and support, while keeping costs more manageable.”
The event is open to the public and is intended for individuals considering
divorce and community members interested in learning more about
Collaborative law and conflict-resolution options.
