Occupational Therapist Job Opening
FUNdamentals and Building Blocks is a pediatric speech therapy and occupational therapy,
private practice located in Falls Church, VA and Washington, DC (Palisades area). We are
looking to hire a part-time to full time occupational therapy contractor to see clients out of
both offices.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide occupational therapy assessments and treatment to clients (opportunities for
feeding clients if interested)
2. Conduct ongoing assessment and adjust intervention plan and strategies based upon
client performance
3. Seek out interprofessional support (e.g., from speech therapists, physical therapists,
vision therapists, psychologists, ect.) as needed.
4. Provide consultation to parents, teachers and other professionals working with the
client.
5. Engage in continuing education and professional growth activities related to
occupational therapy and education
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree required
2. Licensed (or willing to become licensed) as an occupational therapists in Virginia and
Washington, DC.
3. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Must be flexible, creative, and exhibit strong organizational skills
5. Must be engaging and love working with children and families
