Overview
The YMCA seeks proposals from organizations to provide facilities for our Licensed Summer Camp Programs.
Camp Timeline and Requirements:
• Camp Dates: Approximately June 8th – September 1st, 2026.
• Camp Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Site Requirements:
- Physical Amenities
o Outdoor Spaces: Open fields, shaded areas
o Indoor Facilities: Buildings or covered spaces for weather contingencies, small group activities, and program administration.
o Accessible restroom and handwashing facilities for campers and staff.

Capacity:
Accommodations for minimum of 80 campers and 10 staff members.
Compliance with Safety Standards
Facilities should be ADA-compliant and equipped to accommodate participants with physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
Location Suitability: Montgomery, Prince George’s Counties, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William Counties and the City of Alexandria, and DC.
Proposal Submission Requirements
Proposals are invited from:
• Schools, community centers, faith-based organizations, and other organizations with appropriate facilities.
Proposal Requirements
Interested parties should include the following information in their proposals:
- General Information:
o Organization name, address, and contact details.
o POC for this RFP
o Dates/times the site is available for YMCA summer programming.
- Site Details:
o Description of indoor/outdoor spaces.
- Cost Proposal:
o Fee structure for site rental, including any additional costs for maintenance, utilities, or support services.
