The Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority hosted 50.6 million total passengers last year, setting a new passenger record at Reagan and an international passenger record at Dulles.

The Northern Virginia real-estate market entered 2024 as it left 2023 – with an inventory crunch that, while perhaps easing, remains an impediment for the market in gaining forward momentum.
The number of active listings across the corridor in January was 981, down 18.9 percent compared to January 2023, according to figures reported by the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. George Mason University’s leadership is playing defense after community concerns over a proposed baseball/cricket stadium on the currently underutilized, 190-acre western portion of the university’s Fairfax campus seem to have caught them by surprise.
