On Sunday, October 4, at 4:00 pm, the Church of the Holy Comforter, located at 543 Beulah Road NE in Vienna, will present a concert by the ensemble Gut, Wind, and Wire. Their program, "Ancient Airs and Dances," will feature music of the 16th and 17th centuries, performed by Ronn McFarlane (lute), Mindy Rosenfeld (wooden flutes), and Mark Cudek (cittern and viol). The concert is free and open to the public, and a reception to meet the performers will follow the performance.
