Accotink Park Habitat Restoration (Klub Kudzu by the Lake)

Did you know that invasive plants are a huge threat to local wildlife, including migrating birds? Help out these creatures by volunteering to remove invasive plants at Lake Accotink Park! Please join us as we tackle the invasive plants that threaten our trees and natural areas. We will teach you how to identify and cut the invasive plants while carefully working around the native ones. Meet at the Lake Accotink Park marina. Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, sturdy shoes/boots, work gloves, and a hat. Please bring your own water. Volunteers may not use power tools or apply herbicide.
