Join local author Bsrat Mezghebe at Mary Riley Styles Public Library for a talk about her recently released debut novel “I Hope You Find What You’re Looking For”!
Set in 1990s Alexandria, the book follows three generations of an Eritrean immigrant family as they grapple with the implications of freedom, both for themselves and for their homeland. Publishers Weekly gave it a rave review, praising Mezghebe’s “kaleidoscopic portrait of the ways her characters are torn between duty and desire.”
A book signing will follow the talk with copies available for purchase from Bards Alley. You are also welcome to reserve a copy for pick-up by calling (571) 459-2653. Attendance is free with registration requested at this link: https://www.mrspl.org/event/draft-march-author-talk-bsrat-mezghebe-32395
