About the Author
Thrity Umrigar is the bestselling author of 11 novels, including “The Space Between Us,” “Honor,” which was a Reese Book Club pick and the recent, “Missing Sam.” She has also written four children’s picture books and a memoir. Her work has been published in over 20 countries and in several languages. A former journalist, she has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications. She is the recipient of a Nieman Fellowship to Harvard and the winner of the Lambda Literary award and the Cleveland Arts Prize. She is a Distinguished University Professor of English at Case Western Reserve University.
