Usher in spooky season at Bards Alley as we welcome debut author Taylor Grothe for a talk about their YA horror novel “Hollow” (out September 30)! They will be in conversation with local authors Ivelisse Housman (“Unending”) and Andrew Joseph White (“You Weren’t Meant to Be Human”).
Described as “visceral” in a starred review by Publishers Weekly, “Hollow” follows teenager Cassie Davis, who finds her sense of belonging upended by an autism diagnosis. After a backpacking trip in the Adirondacks goes wrong, Cassie is drawn into a secluded community of artists and outcasts called the Roost. But sinister occurrences soon shatter her hope for a safe haven.
All three authors will stay for a signing after the discussion. Copies of their books can purchased at the event.
