Book It For Books is RIF NOVA’s biannual fund- and fun-raiser! And it’s back! The date: October 25, 2025. There is a 10K option for more serious runners, plus 5K and One-Mile options! The day will be fun filled for children and families, with a face-painting station, books for children to take home to keep, and music provided by Vienna’s School of Rock. Our emcee will be NBC4 reporter Ted Oberg. Of course, our mascot, Clifford the Big Red Dog, will be there, too, with hugs and high-fives to cheer the crowd. Book It For Books 2025 will take place at Lake Accotink Park in Fairfax, Virginia.
As an organization, this is how RIF NOVA funds the majority of book purchases for the children we serve. Book It For Books 2025 will fund book purchases for Academic Year 2025-2026.
