Equity Arc, the national nonprofit dedicated to advancing equity in classical music, will return to the Washington, DC region for its highly anticipated Festival Ensembles Concert on Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 PM at Capital One Hall. The concert will feature more than 100 young musicians, ages 12 to 20, representing 19 states and over 80 cities and towns across the country.
Equity Arc gained additional national attention following its March 2025 feature on 60 Minutes, where viewers were introduced to the extraordinary talent of its young musicians alongside veteran military musicians. The segment underscored the urgency of Equity Arc’s work, amplifying its mission to transform classical music into a field where access is no longer a gatekeeper and opportunity is defined by talent alone.
The Festival Ensembles Concert invites audiences, supporters, and music lovers to experience firsthand the artistry and potential of the next generation of classical musicians.
