George Washington Historian to Speak at Nov 5 LLI/NOVA Forum

The Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia, https://llinova.org/, an educational group for adults over 50, will hold its next in-person Forum on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Little River United Church of Christ, 8410 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA. The speaker will be Peter Henriques, Professor of History, Emeritus, George Mason University.

Professor Henriques has specialized in studying the life of George Washington and is author of several books on our first president. He received his Ph.D. in history from the University of Virginia and has taught American and Virginia history with a special emphasis on the Virginia Founding Fathers. Professor Henriques will be bringing for sale copies of his new book, “George Washington: His Quest for Honor and Fame.”

This program promises to be very interesting. It is free and open to the public without registration.
