Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta

Join us for one of Reston’s most beloved summer traditions, the Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta presented by the Reston Museum. The regatta takes place on August 9th at beautiful Lake Anne in Reston. Watch as teams race handcrafted boats made entirely of cardboard, duct tape, and plenty of imagination in a fun-filled celebration of creativity and community. Enjoy live entertainment, local vendors, and the unforgettable sight of these boats on the water. View boats starting at 12:00pm, races will start at 1:00pm.
