Poetry Reading with Melanie McCabe

April is National Poetry Month. Celebrate with Virginian poet Melanie McCabe, who will read a selection of her work at Mary Riley Styles Public Library!

Most recently, McCabe published “All the Signs Were There,” a collection that Longleaf Press editor-in-chief Roger Weingarten praised for its “intelligence and range.” She has published three previous books of poetry and a memoir, and her debut novel, “Road Longer Than Memory,” will be released on June 2.

A book signing will follow the reading. If you would like to reserve a copy of “All the Signs Were There” in advance for pick-up, call Bards Alley at (571) 459-2653. Copies will also be available for purchase at the event.

Registration is free through Mary Riley Styles Public Library here: https://www.mrspl.org/event/draft-poetry-reading-melanie-mccabe-32151
