The Legend of Georgia McBride is a sharp, funny, and unexpectedly intimate play about work, survival, and the personas we build to get through the night. Matthew López’s modern comedy pulls back the curtain on drag not as spectacle, but as craft — a learned art passed down through trust, humor, and hard-earned generosity.
This show is being performed at our alternative venue, the Great Falls Grange! Seating is General Admission, and we’ll have snacks and soda available for purchase before and during the performances.
Performances run about an hour and 45 minutes, with one intermission.
MCP has been entertaining the community since 1964. We’re always looking for local talent, both onstage and backstage – can you sing, dance, act, sew, paint, direct? Would you like to usher (and see the show for free)? Please contact mcleanplayersva@gmail.com to volunteer or go to mcleanplayers.org to learn more.
