The Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia, https://llinova.org/, an educational group for adults over 50, will hold its next in-person Forum on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the Little River United Church of Christ, 8410 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA. The guest will be Chris Pearmund, Owner of Pearmund Cellars, Vint Hill Craft Winery and Effingham Manor Winery.
This award-winning Virginia winemaker and educator will relate his experiences in overcoming the everyday challenges faced by winemakers today. Chris recently received the American Wine Society’s 2026 Award of Merit—one of the wine industry’s most prestigious honors. Chris has been in the wine industry since the mid-1980’s, opening his own winery in 2002. For more than 40 years, Chris has helped shape and educate the public on Virginia wines at the three wineries he owns and the dozens of other wineries he has helped start. He has been president of the Virginia Vineyards Association, first chairman of the Virginia Wine and Food Society, and is a certified wine judge.

This program is part of LLI/NOVA’s monthly Forum Series held the first Wednesday of each month. Social activities start at 9:30 am and the program begins at 10:00 am.
