As America celebrates its 250th year of Independence, Virginia’s American Revolution 250 Commission (VA250) is taking the Commonwealth’s Revolutionary history on the road with its Mobile Museum Experience, an interactive “museum on wheels” housed in a quad-expandable tractor trailer. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs, and more across the state.
The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience will be at George Mason’s Gunston Hall in Lorton, Va. for Labor Day weekend. From August 31 to September 2, visitors are invited to explore the Mobile Museum’s exhibit, Out of Many, One from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. Admission is free.
