Chantville Pokemon League To Host Fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Chantilly, VA: Chantilly/Centreville (Chantville) Pokemon League and The Fantastic Store are hosting the 2022 Fantastic Classic Pokemon TCG Tournament to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Additionally, fun Side Events will be available for all attendees. All proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The tournament will run on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Fantastic Store located between the intersections of Route 50 and 28 in Chantilly, VA. When you donate $30 or more on the St. Jude website (https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?fr_id=139709&pg=entry) for this event, you will receive an invitation to the main tournament. Check-in opens at 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM. The tournament is scheduled to start by Noon time.
Players of all ages and experience levels are welcome to compete in this fun event. There will be three different divisions: Juniors (children to age 11), Seniors (from 12 through 15), and Masters (16 years and older). The main event will be the Pokemon trading card game. Players competing in this event will need to bring a 60-card Pokemon deck in the Standard Format (through Sword & Shield Silver Tempest). Thanks to the generous donation from the Fantastic Store, top finishers will earn Pokemon-themed prizes.
For people interested in supporting St. Jude, but do not wish to compete in the main event, there will also be side activities. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about the Pokemon trading card game. All entry fees and donations collected from these side activities will also be donated to St. Jude. Side events will begin once the main tournament has started (around 12:30 PM). Attendees have the chance to win door prizes throughout the day.

We have been serving Fairfax and Sterling Counties since 2014. Pokemon League offers Pokemon fans a familiar local place to get together with other fans of both the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the Pokémon video games and have some fun. Players use their own cards and Pokémon video games; and can play, trade, and earn cool prizes for participating in planned activities.
