Great Clips Reston Supports Cancer Patients & Hair Donors with Free Haircuts, Dec 12 – 14, 2022
Reston, VA, (December 01, 2022) – The newest Great Clips salon in northern Virginia is dedicating three days in December to highlight cancer awareness during the holiday season and provide meaningful support to cancer patients. Monday, Dec 12 – Wednesday, December 14, Great Clips at South Lakes Village Center in Reston, VA will provide free haircuts to cancer patients and to those donating their hair for children’s wigs. The three-day campaign focuses on two critical outreach programs that Great Clips offers throughout the U.S. and Canada: the Clips of Kindness and Wigs for Kids programs.
The recently opened salon at 11130 South Lakes Drive in Reston is open seven days a week from 9 am to 7 pm on Monday through Saturday, and 9 am to 6 pm on Sunday. Families can “walk right in” or they can use Great Clips Online Check-in from the comfort of their home or work. Great Clips offers haircuts, shampoos, and styling.
“This holiday season, we want to continue to do our part to help those in need,” said Sean Carroll, Great Clips franchisee and military veteran. “We know these two programs make a real difference in the lives of others, especially those experiencing cancer.”

Wigs for Kids is a nonprofit hair donation organization that helps children and young adults dealing with hair loss by making high-quality hair pieces from donated hair.
