The Old Brogue Celebrates 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Great Falls

Great Falls, VA — This Tuesday, March 17, The Old Brogue Irish Pub hosts its 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, one of Northern Virginia’s longest-running Irish celebrations.

Families, friends, and visitors from across the Washington, D.C. region will enjoy live Irish music, traditional dance, food, and drinks, including Guinness.

Some guests travel hundreds of miles to participate, making it one of the area’s premier St. Patrick’s Day events.

A $15 cover charge includes a 2026 commemorative festival button and entry into a raffle for two goodie bags, ensuring a festive and memorable experience for all attendees.

Founded in 1981, The Old Brogue has become a cornerstone of Great Falls, affectionately called the “living room” of the community.

Over 45 years, it has welcomed locals and visitors from Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, celebrating Irish heritage, culture, and community spirit.

  • Galway Gamblers — 5:00 PM to last call
  • Boyle Irish Dancers — 12:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 6:15 PM
