A 78-year-old man from Fair Oaks who killed his wife after she admitted to having an affair has died before the case was adjudicated.

Behruze Dorbayan died June 17 — nearly a year after telling police that he stabbed his wife of 50 years inside their home in the 3900 block of Highland Oaks Drive.

A 21-year-old man is facing the possibility of life in prison for fatally shooting a teen at the Fairmont Gardens Apartments in Annandale over an alleged gang rivalry.

The Fairfax County Courthouse will be closed again tomorrow (Friday) due to ongoing technical issues.

All courts fully suspended operations today (Thursday) to address “ongoing technical difficulties” that the county hoped would be quickly resolved. When announcing this afternoon that the closure will be extended a day, the county elaborated that the issue is related to the courthouse’s “electronic access control system.”
