A karaoke bar coming to Annandale’s former Kmart plaza now has its liquor license.

Construction on Glam Karaoke, located at 4369 John Marr Drive in the new Eastgate Shopping Center, has been underway since last fall, Annandale Today previously reported.

Contractor Hongsoo Bak told FFXnow that the work is almost done. The venue has 95 seats, and the business expects to serve 101-400 meals per day.

Fairfax County issued a permit for the restaurant and karaoke facility in December. According to a food establishment record, it’s approved to operate seven days a week, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The property owner, American Properties of MD, LLC, didn’t immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

The Kmart that previously filled the lot closed in 2018, according to Annandale Today.

Other tenants in the shopping center include a tea restaurant, a K Market International grocery store, and more.

Real estate agents claim that home buyers don’t pay anything to use their service, but buyer’s agents usually net 2-3% of a home price as commission. Let me rebate you as much of this as possible.

It is common for a real estate seller’s agent to charge between 5 and 6% of the sales price as commission, a cost which sellers keep in mind when judging how to price their property.

This commission is typically split between the seller and buyer agents, meaning as a buyer, your agent is receiving anywhere from 2.5-3% of the sale price of the home, even if nothing is coming directly out of your pocket.
