Fair Oaks Mall is hosting a Taste of FFX event tomorrow (Saturday), featuring a mix of local dining and regional chains.

The event is scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.

Among the more than 75 vendors currently scheduled for the event are Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rita’s Frozen Custard, and Honeygrow.

Along with dining, the event will feature live entertainment and games. Kojam Productions, which is organizing the festival, announced the full entertainment schedule earlier this week:

  • 11 a.m. — DJ Greg Mills
  • 12:30 p.m. — Cardinal Cloggers
  • 1 p.m. — “I in Indian” book reading
  • 1:30 p.m. Hula hoop contest
  • 2 p.m. — Norie Jades live music
  • 3 p.m. — Tysons Crew performance
  • 3:30 p.m. — MKH Dabke dancing
  • 4 p.m. — Hula hoop contest, round 2

A representative from Fair Oaks Mall told FFXnow that this is the first time in several years the event has been held at the mall.

“We created Taste of FFX to showcase the incredible variety of dining options available across the county,” they said. “It’s a unique opportunity to bring many of them together in one place for the community to sample and enjoy. Fair Oaks Mall has been focusing on hosting community events that foster connection — like this one, along with the Fil-Am Festival, Lunar New Year Celebration, our upcoming Fall Festival, and New Santa Arrival.”
