Fairfax City Restaurant Week returning with specials at over 20 eateries

Fairfax City Restaurant Week will return for its winter rendition later this week, offering specials at 20-plus restaurants around the city.

The restaurant week will run from Friday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 8. Full-service restaurants will offer multi-course special menus, while fast-casual eateries will set their own specials.

Some — but not all restaurants — have posted their restaurant week menus or specials on the Fairfax City Restaurant Week website.

Hosted by Fairfax City Economic Development, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and Old Town Fairfax Business Association, the 10-day event intends to rally support for the city’s local restaurants. Fairfax City Restaurant Week started in 2018, while the summer edition of the event debuted in 2022.

“Winter months can be challenging for small, independently owned businesses, and this event gives residents a tangible reason to get out, explore, and invest in the places that make Fairfax City special,” Tara Borwey, assistant director of programs and retail strategy at Fairfax City Economic Development, said in a statement to FFXnow. “The economic impact of this week extends well beyond the dining table — it supports the chefs, staff, and entrepreneurs who are the backbone of our local economy.”
