It doesn’t appear to be long before an acai bowl chain opens its latest location in Chantilly.
Playa Bowls is currently hiring for its forthcoming store in the Greenbriar Town Center (13059-A Route 50), according to a social media post.

A specific date hasn’t been determined yet for the opening of the shop, which replaces Subway in the space next to Panda Express.
“At this time, the Greenbriar shop is still working through final permitting, so there isn’t a confirmed opening date just yet,” a company spokesperson told FFXnow. “The team is actively moving through the process and is looking forward to welcoming the community as soon as everything is finalized.”
When it does open, the Chantilly location will be brand’s third in Fairfax County and the 10th in Virginia, joining stores at Reston Town Center and the Mosaic District in Merrifield.
Founded in 2014, Playa Bowls offers dozens of different fruit bowls with acai, banana blend, mango, oatmeal and more as possible bases. The menu also features 11 different smoothies, seven different mixed juices, and a variety of cold brews and cold-pressed juices.
