The award-winning Vienna restaurant Clarity will finally open its long-awaited second location at Reston Town Center tomorrow (Friday).
The 4,500-square-foot restaurant at 1996 Opportunity Way in the town center’s expansion will have a grand opening at 11 a.m.
“Opening Clarity in Reston is an exciting opportunity for our team,” said owner Viswanath Vasireddy, who is also planning to open Dogfish Head Alehouse in Reston Town Center later this year. “From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a place where guests feel at home and every visit is memorable.”
The new location, selected because of Reston’s growth potential, can seat about 175 guests indoors and 40 on a patio. The new restaurant was initially expected to open this spring, but wound up needing some additional time to work out permitting issues.
The Reston location will offer lunch, happy hour, dinner, and host private events.
As FFXnow previously reported, the menu will include “fan favorites” from Clarity’s Vienna location, including halibut, steaks and chops, French onion soup, and foie gras, as well as new additions, such as a smoked wagyu cheeseburger made out of an American wagyu beef blend, smoked chili cheddar cheese and burger sauce.
There will also be a six-course tasting menu, specialty menus for large parties, and a new to-go menu.
“We’re grateful for the warm welcome we’ve already received during our preview event, and we look forward to serving the Reston community for many years to come,” said Vasireddy.
