A Maryland man has been indicted for second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a woman in Annandale earlier this year.
Musa Kargbo, 43, is now scheduled to stand trial on Jan. 11 in Fairfax County Circuit Court. The Prince George’s County resident is accused of killing Isha Koroma, 26, of Alexandria, outside of the Annandale home where she worked taking care of a child, on Nov. 7, 2025.
The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney said that during a preliminary hearing in August, witnesses testified that Koroma was found unresponsive and suffering from multiple sharp force trauma injuries to the face and neck on the 3900 block of Terrace Drive.
“Surveillance footage captured a man exiting a car parked near the incident, donning a mask, walking towards the area where the victim was found, and then running back to the car carrying a bag,” according to a Commonwealth’s Attorney release. “The same car was found to be registered to both the victim and Kargbo, and when detectives executed a search warrant, they found blood in the car.”
The Fairfax County Police Department previously said that Koroma and Kargbo knew each other but did not elaborate further.
