Interactive Hershey experience coming in Tysons in early 2026

A pop-up experience bringing guests closer to one of the world’s largest confectionery brands will be unwrapped in Tysons next year.

The Hershey Super Sweet Adventure will “transport guests into a whimsical workshop with games, activities and interactive fun” at Tysons Corner Center beginning “early” next year, according to a press release.

Described as “an immersive experience filled with family-friendly fun,” the installation will lead guests on an adventure where they tackle challenges within environments themed to popular Hershey brands, like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey’s Kisses, Twizzlers and Jolly Ranchers, among others.

The project, which is a joint venture between Hershey and entertainment brand Original X Productions, previously operated in Chicago to rave reviews. It was open for about 10 months, closing earlier this summer.

“As the region’s premier retail and entertainment destination, Tysons offers the ideal home for an experience of this scale,” Original X Productions CEO Stacy Moscatelli said. “This new iteration allows us to share the wonder of Hershey with even more families across the D.C. area, creating heartwarming moments and unforgettable memories that embody The Hershey Company’s iconic legacy.”

The adventure will also feature limited-edition merchandise for purchase, and give visitors the opportunity to create their own custom Hershey bar wrapper.

“The wrapper will showcase customizable artwork, and guests can personalize with their own image to create a truly unique gift or souvenir,” the press release said.

An opening date has not yet been publicly announced for the pop-up, but tickets are slated to go on sale sometime in January.

The storefront appears to have been under construction since late last month, according to Fairfax County’s permitting portal. The 17,151-square-foot space, located on the mall’s first floor near Macy’s, is currently undergoing nearly $500,000 in renovations, permit applications said.
