An eatery serving up smash burgers and fried chicken is ready to officially introduce itself to the Pimmit Hills community.

After soft-launching in the Tysons Station shopping center in early September, Nash & Smashed will celebrate its grand opening at 7450-B Leesburg Pike this Saturday, Oct. 24 with free meals from 5-8 p.m.

“Come hungry and bring your friends!” the restaurant said in a social media post announcing the offer, which includes either a Classic Bull smashed burger or a fried chicken leg and thigh with fries.

The first weeks of business in Pimmit Hills have been “good,” Nash & Smashed Chief Operating Officer Lamaan Malik told FFXnow, adding that the team is “looking forward” to having “so many people” for the grand opening.

Combining beef smash burgers, fried chicken and Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches into one concept, Nash & Smashed has grown rapidly across the D.C. region and beyond since founder Zayan Abbasi opened his first location in Manassas in 2024. The Pimmit Hills location is the chain’s 30th overall and third in Fairfax County, joining outposts in Reston and Lorton.

“We think it has a very solid footprint,” Malik said when asked why Nash & Smashed was interested in opening a location at Tysons Station. “That place lacked a proper fried chicken and smashed burger [restaurant], and that’s why we decided to open.”

According to Malik, the menu at each Nash & Smashed is typically the same, with the exception of its food truck and smaller express units.

In addition to the aforementioned burgers, fried chicken and chicken sandwiches, patrons can find chicken tenders, wings and bites as well as milkshakes, smashed blend mojitos, and a few desserts, including blueberry lemon cheesecake, turtle cheesecake and an orange luxe cake.

Malik says none of the food is frozen, and the ingredients are sourced from local suppliers.

“That’s our punchline: freshly prepared and local,” he said. “… The smash burger will be different than anywhere they have tasted.”

Looking ahead, Nash & Smashed is preparing to open a location in Hybla Valley at 7609 Richmond Highway as soon as next week, and Malik says the chain is close to finalizing a lease for a spot in Fairfax.

“Most probably the paperwork will be signed within two to three weeks, and then the location buildout will start,” he said.

The company is also working to expand internationally, with upcoming locations in Australia and the United Kingdom.

At Tysons Station, Nash & Smashed joined a lineup of food options that also includes the Peruvian chicken joint Crisp & Juicy, Ledo Pizza, Java Loco, Blazin’ Chicken and Gyro, China King, and Juice Time and Papa Kanafa. The Trader Joe’s-anchored shopping center is fully leased, according to a site plan from owner Federal Realty.
