Today’s fast-paced world can be challenging to form genuine connections, especially for those of us who prefer quieter, more thoughtful interactions. Traditional social apps often fall short for introverted individuals. The constant noise, superficial interactions, and overwhelming social cues can be draining.

As an introvert, I craved genuine connections, meaningful conversations, and activities that aligned with my interests. But finding like-minded people who understood my need for quiet moments and deeper conversations seemed impossible.

“Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins” tells the story of Hershel of Ostropol, a clever traveler who arrives in a village haunted by goblins that have been ruining Hanukkah celebrations for years. Determined to restore the holiday’s joy, Hershel accepts the daunting challenge of spending eight nights in the old synagogue, outsmarting the goblins who try to stop him. With each night, the goblins grow larger and more fearsome, but Hershel’s wit proves mightier than their strength. On the final night, Hershel faces his greatest challenge yet: the King of the Goblins. Can he outsmart the Goblin King and light the candles, saving Hanukkah for the village? A heartwarming and humorous tale about courage, cleverness, and the spirit of the season, this play brings Eric Kimmel’s beloved story to life with vibrant characters, thrilling encounters, and a message of hope.

Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins is best suited for ages 6 and up.
